Not only do I really enjoy this whole blogging thing, I must be getting really good at it because I have been asked to write another one. Of course my reader may be biased because she's my best friend Catherine, but nonetheless I appreciate having at least one fan. So Cat, this one's for you! Even though you don't like my title which I think is hilarious! I laughed to myself for a good couple minutes over that one. "Blogaholic!" HA! I think I'm the only person that finds it humorous, so I'll change it to something that you, Cat, should enjoy.Catherine and I have been best friends since about tenth grade. We met in ninth grade but I didn't really like her at the time. I thought she was weird and I guess I didn't hide it too well because our other best friend Amy told me that Catherine thought I didn't like her. It was kind of true but I couldn't let her know that! I had no choice but to turn on the charm. I think I complimented her jeans and asked her to go get breadsticks with me at lunch, and the rest is history.
We've been through a lot together. Like the time in PE I (accidentally) hit her in the face with a tennis ball and gave her a bloody nose. And there was high school graduation when I got the bubble soap in her eyes causing her eyes to water profusely just as we were going up to get our diplomas. Again an accident. And then there was the time- well that's enough of that. Besides I think those were the only times I caused her any pain. My point is that we have gone through a lot together both good and bad and we are still best friends after all these years. However I'm still campaigning heavily to be her maid of honor at her wedding. She's not getting married anytime in the near future, I guess the engagement needs to happen first, but it's never to early right? (This blog is in no way part of my scheme to convince her. When the time comes, I'll pull out the big guns, compliments and breadsticks.)In other news, My visa came in the mail today. It actually is just a sticker they stuck into one of the pages in my passport. I was expecting another little book like my passport. The best part of it is that I'm going to be allowed to stay in the country until October 31, 2007! So I don't have to worry about extending it at the end of the course and I'll get to stick around longer than I thought.

Wow. You know, life is how it is...it goes and it flows and you just kinda roll with it. Yet, there is always one thing that I will miss forever: the friendship we all had back in the day. I know that times have changed and I also know that due to being environmentally inept (that means me moving) the whole entirety of our gang crashed and burned. I still have that pic of you and Cat in the tree, along with the one of me and Cat on the swings in the park that day. If only life could be that simple....:) I am so glad that you and Cat have lasted the years and the wisdom that's prevailed upon us. Just know I always hold a special place in my heart for "kindred spirits". Never stopped lovin you Megan! Nicole
An addendum to the last. First of all I want to give a shout out to Cat as well. I remember our poem sharings! Secondly I want to say that I tried to create a profile so that I could leave my name on here but it didn't work so when I sign it "Nicole" hopefully you know it came from Nicole Dehnert! :)
